Basement and start of new lower level

Basement

Basement and foundation walls will be poured today.

Pouring footing, stub wall near line "E", slab in crawl space, and foundation wall on lake side. Drainage trench has been dug passing on the lake side and into the trees which will carry French drain water (there was no drain on the lake side and the one at the back was inadequate).

Some footings poured, some forms in place.

Excavation

Oil tanks are gone. Down to grade at NW corner. Digging for drainage toward the lake.

Demo done, ready for excavation
